Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Manager to lead software architecture, design, and integration for ALG device endpoints used by U.S. Government customers. You will own the roadmap, hire and grow the team, and deliver mission-critical software across space and ground systems.

You will manage multiple teams of engineers, collaborate with product and security teams, and ensure scalable, real-time solutions for national security programs. Onsite in Northridge, CA with relocation benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs in an Agile environment.
• 10+ years of embedded software development in mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams (manager of managers) of firmware, embedded systems and services software engineers.
• Manage and develop employees, including hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring.
• Work with peer teams and customers to design software systems and interfaces for government use cases.
• Collaborate with peer teams to integrate hardware and software elements.
