Job summary

Amazon Leo, part of Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC, seeks a Software Development Manager to lead software systems powering production operations for the Kuiper manufacturing fleet.

You will own the technical roadmap, define requirements, and architect scalable solutions using AWS, IoT, and data analytics, collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve throughput and operator safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing software systems for production operations of the Amazon Leo satellite fleet, including integration with manufacturing systems.
• Architect scalable software solutions that meet functional requirements, security standards, and performance specifications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and production quality.
• Define and implement growth strategies for software services and team capabilities.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
