Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to oversee daily operations, coach teams, and drive customer service excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. The role focuses on staffing, development, and ensuring adherence to company standards across departments.

With 2–3 years in retail and at least one year in a supervisory role, you will manage schedules, mentor staff, and deliver strong sales while maintaining safety and operational controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments across store areas for broad experience.
• Clear, precise direction to team members and strong communication.
• Ability to resolve conflicts by addressing root causes.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and analyze data.
• Proven ability to lead teams that follow safe work practices.
• Experience mentoring hourly staff and leaders to meet goals.
• Successful completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach staff; drive customer service and sales.
• Staffing, hiring and scheduling to meet store needs and coverage.
• Support succession planning and identify development needs.
• Address disciplinary matters and uphold company standards.
• Oversee P&L, shrink control and overall department performance.
• Model fast, friendly service and Meijer standards.
• Ensure training completion and store appearance at prime hours.
• Maintain a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
