Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Allen, TX is seeking a Retail Manager - Softlines to supervise multiple sales departments, drive merchandising, pricing and inventory control, and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

You will open/close the store, manage schedules, train teams, and resolve issues while leveraging POS and inventory systems to optimize performance. Experience with club memberships and in-store pickup is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in Retail Management with responsibility for one or more Sales Departments.
• Strong analytical, financial and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent customer service and staff development skills.
• Experience with retail programs (CLUB Membership, VOC, in-store pickup) desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise one or more Sales Departments, oversee merchandising, pricing and inventory.
• Staff departments, recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate performance.
• Open and close the store; assume Manager on Duty responsibilities.
• Resolve customer and associate issues; maintain a productive team environment.
• Utilize POS and inventory systems; analyze financial and sales reports.
• Collaborate with corporate on planograms and store programs.
