Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Softline Processor to support the store's softline department. You will sort, hang, tag and label products according to standard operating procedures, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.

The position may be cross-trained for additional duties. You will greet customers, follow Goodwill values, address concerns courteously, and work as a positive team member.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a retail environment and follow SOPs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail in sorting, tagging, and labeling.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort softline products based on quality standards.
• Tag and label products as per production system.
• Aim to generate sales from items produced during production periods.
• Increase knowledge of apparel, accessory, shoe, and softline brands.
• Greet customers and follow store policies; maintain a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Keep work stations clean, stocked, and prepared; notify supervisor for supplies.
• Maintain store interior and exterior in a neat, organized manner; perform cleaning duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
