Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Softline Processor to sort, hang, tag, and label softline items while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment and may involve cross-training for additional duties.

The position supports fulfilling in-store sales by processing items efficiently and collaborating with the team to meet production and service goals. Availability for nights, weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as time cards and policy manuals.
• Ability to complete daily production reports.
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly to team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess and sort softline products based on quality standards.
• Accurately tag and label products based description within production system.
• Generate a minimum of 8000.00 in-store sales from items produced during every two week production period.
• Continuously expand knowledge of apparel, accessories, shoes and other softline products.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers and team members; greet customers enthusiastically; address concerns politely following store policies; collaborate with coworkers and management.
