Valor Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Mental Health Counselor at Hurlburt – Duke Field, FL, to assist with management and treatment of client behavioral health activities. The position works under a licensed provider and supports SOF personnel’s well-being.

You will conduct intakes, assist with care, provide behavioral health interventions, observe clients, and help prepare reports and data for monthly statistics. A strong focus on safety and collaboration with licensed staff is essential.

Formación

• Associate degree or military mental health training accepted.
• Experience providing behavioral health support and intake assistance.
• Trained to intervene and restrain violent or potentially violent clients if needed.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a mental health technician.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intakes and assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol clients under supervision.
• Provide behavioral health interventions under a licensed professional.
• Observe clients and report behavioral observations to staff.
• Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Prepare reports, training agendas, and maintain clinical data as required.
