Valor Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Counselor at Hurlburt Duke Field, FL. The role supports management and treatment of client behavioral health activities for SOF personnel; technicians work under a licensed provider.

Under licensed supervision, you will conduct intakes, assist with care and treatment, observe clients, and contribute to behavioral health interventions, including leading or assisting therapy sessions and preparing related documentation.

Formación

• Associate degree or commensurate level of training as mental health technician or psychiatric technician.
• Military training acceptable if specialty is mental health technician/specialist.
• Minimum of three years' experience as a mental health technician.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intakes and assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol clients under supervision of licensed staff.
• Provide a range of behavioral health interventions from mitigation to treatment under licensed professionals.
• Observe clients and report behavior to supervising staff; assist or lead individual or group therapy sessions as directed.
