Job summary

Maximus Federal is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide behavioral healthcare, counseling, case management, and clinical support for Special Operations Forces personnel and their families. The role enhances readiness by addressing military life challenges and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are required; location includes Tampa, FL, and other SOF locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years of related mental health experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW license in the state of practice.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling with applicable licensure.
• Must meet DHA credentialing and privileging standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees and ensure high performance.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for the assigned program area.
• Act as subject matter expert for program knowledge.
• Ensure team meets contract SLAs and related requirements.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
