Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to deliver comprehensive psychological services supporting Special Operations Forces, resilience, and performance optimization. The role emphasizes assessments, treatment, and program development to enhance readiness for service members and their families.

Strong preference for candidates with US citizenship, an active or eligible Secret clearance, and experience in government or military healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Minimum of two years of peer-reviewable clinical practice in a mental health setting.
• Successful completion of an internship/residency in psychology accredited by the APA.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychological consultation to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs, services, and initiatives.
• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to support organizational and workforce objectives.
• Conduct psychological evaluations and provide actionable recommendations.
• Produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment, as required.

Education

PhD in Clinical Psychology (APA-accredited)

Master's degree in Psychology

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
