Job summary

Maximus seeks a Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive services for SOF readiness, resilience, and performance. The role supports prevention and treatment of behavioral health concerns, selection and assessment activities, and performance enhancement training for service members and families.

Candidates must be a US citizen, possess an active Secret clearance or be eligible, and reside near Fort Campbell, KY or other preferred locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field; 10+ years if higher degree options, or Master’s with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years of related experience (as stated in the ad).
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an APA-accredited program with doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Minimum of two (2) years of peer-reviewable clinical practice in a mental health setting; internship/residency completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychological consultation to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs and initiatives.
• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies and tools to support workforce objectives.
• Conduct and interpret individual, team, and organizational assessments with actionable recommendations.
• Lead complex client engagements and influence strategic decisions with evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to address challenges and achieve objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Psychology (or related field)

PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology (APA-accredited)

2+ years peer-reviewed clinical practice in mental health
