Job summary

DOROT, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Social Work Supervisor to lead a team delivering in-home and community services for older adults. The role focuses on supervision, program development, and ensuring high-quality client support.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week, plus occasional evening and Sunday commitments. You will supervise social workers pursuing LCSW, manage referrals and caseloads, and collaborate across departments to enhance impact.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
• SiFi certification preferred.
• Direct experience with social work practices and strong clinical/group facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of resources and entitlements for older adults.
• Experience fostering team collaboration and cohesion.
• Willingness to use public transportation for field visits.
• Proficiency with database/information management systems (Salesforce is a plus) and MS Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to social workers and interns.
• Lead development and implementation of program procedures for efficiency.
• Oversee onboarding for new older adults and manage referrals, interviews, and matches.
• Carry a caseload of up to 20 matches and supervise related activities.
• Guide orientations and volunteer events; support LMSW pursuing LCSW.
• Collaborate across departments to promote and improve programs (Friendly Visiting, Home Assessments).
• Represent DOROT at meetings and conferences; monitor program data in Salesforce.
• Supervise interns and volunteers as needed.
