Job summary

DOROT is headquartered on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and the Social Work Supervisor will work in a hybrid schedule, in-office 3 days per week. This role supervises social workers conducting psychosocial assessments for in-home programs and supports Friendly Visiting matches to enhance well-being for older adults.

The CCS Department collaborates across Outreach, Volunteer Services, Development, and Evaluation to strengthen programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor with at least 3 years of professional social work experience including supervisory experience.
• SiFi certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, mentor, and supervise a team of social workers; collaborate with Manager to meet program goals.
• Oversee onboarding of older adults to Friendly Visiting; manage referrals, applications, interviews.
• Carry a caseload of up to 20 matches.
• Guide orientations and volunteer events for Friendly Visiting.
• Provide clinical supervision for LMSW pursuing LCSW.
• Collaborate with other departments to expand program reach and impact.
• Represent DOROT at meetings; network with local and national agencies.
• Ensure accurate tracking in Salesforce; assist with monthly/yearly reports.
• Supervise interns and volunteers as needed.
