Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated Social Services Supervisor to oversee intake, case management, and direct care referrals at the Lodge in the North and Central Illinois Division. You will manage staff, maintain program data, and develop policies in collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• MSW required.
• Minimum 5 years of staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the intake process, ensuring appropriate clients are admitted while maintaining full program capacity.
• Supervise case management with weekly reviews, case plan reviews, and file reviews; provide feedback on planning and participation.
• Supervise direct care services including referrals for housing, counseling, medical care, school enrollment, and other client needs.
• Maintain program statistics and timely reporting of data to leadership.
• Collaborate with Administration Coordinator to plan staff training and volunteer support.
• Participate in hiring decisions, evaluate staff performance, and advise the Director as needed.
• Develop and maintain policies for the social services department in collaboration with the Director.
• Maintain and supervise the program during emergencies and coordinate with the Director.
