Job summary

The Salvation Army North and Central Illinois Division seeks a Program Supervisor to lead social services at the Lodge, guiding intake, case management, and direct care services to families and individuals in need. Qualifications

• MSW required.
• At least 5 years in staff supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Administration.
• Supervise intake process to ensure appropriate clients enter the program and maintain full capacity.
• Supervise case management with weekly reviews and feedback on planning and participation.
• Supervise direct care services including referrals for housing, counseling, medical care and school enrollment.
• Maintain program statistics and submit timely reports.
• Collaborate with Administration Coordinator to plan staff training and volunteers for social services.
• Participate in hiring decisions and evaluate staff performance with the Director.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the social services department with the Director.
• Maintain supervision during emergencies and contact 911 as needed.
• Engage in Community Relations and participate in professional and government committees.
• Attend staff meetings and perform all other duties as assigned.
