How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
Minimum Requirements
- License/Certifications: One or more of the following: Social Worker obtained prior to hire date or Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice obtained prior to hire date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Leadership/Management Experience: 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
