Job summary

Saybrook Point Resort & Marina in Connecticut is seeking a Social Sales Manager to drive revenue across food and beverage, hotel accommodations, and function rentals. You will solicit and book social events, present menus, and conduct property tours to showcase our offerings.

In this exempt, salaried role, you will manage a booking funnel, coordinate with operations, and ensure guest satisfaction while maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year or 4-year degree with 4+ years in sales and marketing.
• Experience in social sales and hospitality sales preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests enthusiastically and maintain a professional appearance.
• Solicit and book social events, menus, and property tours.
• Load inquiries into booking system and manage guest information.
• Negotiate contracts and BEOs to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate requirements with operations and craft detailed event plans.
• Communicate guest needs to teams and monitor service quality.
• Prepare weekly reports and support strategy meetings.
