Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC seeks a Social Media Adviser: Student-Generated Content to lead the Student Creator Program across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. You will recruit and coach up to 10 student creators and translate experiences into compelling stories that boost campus visibility.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, portfolio and a strong background in marketing/communications; visa sponsorship is not offered. Monday–Friday with flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
• Preferred: professional knowledge of marketing, communications, or public relations principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously enhance the Student Creator Program, establishing creative direction, content priorities and processes.
• Recruit, onboard, advise and manage two to three student editors and up to 10 student creators.
• Coach creators in developing engaging, student-first content reflecting academic and campus life.
• Brainstorm concepts for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and trends; review content for brand alignment.
• Monitor performance and prepare analytics reports to inform decisions.
