Job summary

The Ben Hotel, part of Sage Hospitality's Autograph Collection, seeks a Social Catering Sales Manager in West Palm Beach to drive weddings and social events from inquiry to execution. You will craft refined client experiences, maintain high-touch service, and hit revenue and profitability targets in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include prospecting, site tours, proposals, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure flawless events.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education preferred.
• 1–2 years of catering or event sales experience required.
• Experience supporting weddings or luxury events preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel for outside sales calls and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and secure social catering business through direct sales efforts.
• Develop relationships with clients, planners, vendors and partners.
• Respond to inquiries promptly, ideally the same day or next business day.
• Conduct site tours showcasing event spaces and services.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, menus, and event docs.
• Negotiate pricing and terms within hotel guidelines.
• Plan and upsell all event details including logistics and decor.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activity in the system.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth handoffs from sale to event.
