Job summary

i9 Sports - Puget Sound, WA is hiring an Instructor/Official for Kentwood High School. You will enforce rules, coach on-field, and advocate for our programs, impacting players, coaches, and spectators on game day.

The role supports the Fall season at Kentwood High School, with Sunday afternoons. Candidates should bring officiating/playing/coaching experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to deliver safe, fun youth sports experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport‑specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Highly motivated self‑starter; can work independently.
• Awareness & ability to take charge to ensure safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Able to commit to the full 7‑week season.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job Summary

The Instructor/Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for the Fall season at the following location:

• Kentwood High School (Sunday afternoons through 10/25)

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age‑appropriate level of instruction and competition
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
