Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking an Instructor/Official to enforce rules and act as on-field coach during the Fall season at Kentwood High School, with Sunday afternoon games through 10/25. You will promote safety and fun while supporting players, coaches, and spectators.

The role requires teaching core sports concepts, maintaining game time, and delivering excellent customer service in a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (email, text, verbal, written).
• Sports-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems.
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work for the full duration of the 7-week season.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. We do not tolerate callouts.

Job Summary

The Instructor/Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for the Fall season at the following location:

• Kentwood High School (Sunday afternoons through 10/25)
