Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Soccer Instructor/Official to enforce rules and cultivate a positive on-field culture, serving as both an official and on-field coach for youth players. This role supports program safety, sportsmanship and fun across games.

We are hiring for Fall at Juanita High School on Sundays (9/13–10/25). Experience in officiating or coaching is preferred; reliable transportation and full-season commitment are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (email, text, verbal, written). Responsiveness is critical.
• Sports officiating, playing or coaching experience is a must.
• Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and trustworthiness.
• Situational awareness, attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as a team.
• Commit to the full duration of the 7-week season.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players.
• Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.

Job Summary

The Soccer Instructor/Official is a critical role on any field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for our Fall season at the following venue:

• Juanita High School (Sunday afternoons): 9/13-10/25
