Job summary

i9 Sports - Puget Sound, WA is hiring an Instructor for the Fall season. You will act as an on-field coach, enforce rules, and advocate for our programs, directly impacting players, coaches, and spectators at each game day.

The role supports youth leagues and clinics across the Fall schedule, starting at Valley Ridge Park on Saturdays, focusing on fun, safety, and sportsmanship while delivering positive customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills across email, text, verbal and written formats.
• Experience officiating, playing, or coaching in sports.
• Ability to teach core concepts and maintain sportsmanship values.
• Self-motivated and capable to work independently and solve problems.
• Aware of safety considerations and able to manage on-field situations.
• Maintain a positive attitude and deliver superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce i9 Sports rules to ensure fun, learning and safety for all players.

Job Summary

The Instructor is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for the Fall season at the following location:

• Valley Ridge Park (Saturday mornings): 9/19-10/24

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (Email, text, verbal, written)
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work for the full duration of the 6-week season
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
• Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. We do not tolerate callouts.
