Job summary

Shea Properties is seeking a Regional Manager, Southern California to maximize the performance of a six-property regional portfolio in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Based in Aliso Viejo, CA, you will lead the Southern California Floating Team and work closely with senior leaders to execute property strategies and annual business plans.

Qualifications

• College degree and minimum 10 years of apartment management experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience in multifamily industry.
• Prior responsibility for managing at least 700-unit property or multi-site responsibilities.
• Demonstrates hands-on property-level knowledge and ability to lead teams and develop long-term ownership strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assets within the regional portfolio and ensure performance against budgets.
• Interact with senior-level stakeholders across Construction, Development, and corporate leadership.
• Recruit, hire, and train onsite associates; supervise community managers and staff.
• Develop and implement annual business plans and property operations strategies for the portfolio.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, maintenance, capital improvements, and leasing plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and drive portfolio initiatives with regional peers.
