Job summary

Sunrise Management seeks a Regional Real Estate Manager for the SoCal region to oversee a diverse portfolio of properties, lead on-site teams, and drive operational excellence. You will report to regional leadership and partner with clients to maintain high service levels while advancing investment objectives.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis, plus developing talent within property managers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Active California Real Estate License in good standing.
• Minimum five years of multifamily property management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio & Operational Management: Oversee the operations of multiple properties, ensuring performance aligns with company standards, client expectations, and investment objectives.
• Leadership & Team Development: Provide direct and indirect supervision to on-site teams, Property Managers, and Property Administrators, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Employee Management: Partner with the Human Resources team on interviewing, hiring, training, and employee development. Assign and direct work, evaluate performance, recognize achievements, address concerns, and resolve employee issues.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain proactive, effective communication with regional leadership, existing clients, and prospective clients to build strong partners and deliver exceptional service.
• Financial Performance: Maximize property income, control operating expenses, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and overall portfolio performance.
• Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Prepare property budgets, conduct monthly financial analyses, monitor results, and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
• Marketing & Business Strategy: Develop and execute effective marketing plans to support occupancy goals, enhance property performance, and maximize investment potential.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and promote best practices that improve efficiency, team performance, and client satisfaction.
