Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician as part of the Hosting SOC to secure Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare customers. You will detect security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and propose long‑term process improvements while staying current on emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention.
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring and auditing; experience in a security operations center.
• PowerShell scripting is helpful.
• Exposure/experience with Active Directory and physical security is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools will be useful.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
