Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team responsible for securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure. You will identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams, while advocating long-term process improvements and staying current on emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, app whitelisting and data loss prevention.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring and system/network auditing in SOC contexts.
• Security certifications are a plus (e.g., SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA, CompTIA Security+).
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is helpful.
• Exposure to Active Directory and physical security is a plus; familiarity with SIEM, MFA and ITIL tools is useful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift; COVID-19 vaccination.
