Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician on its Madison, WI campus to join a SOC protecting Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events and coordinate investigations across teams while focusing on long-term process improvements.

You will stay current on threats, contribute to effective security solutions, and participate in a comprehensive benefits program. Relocation is reimbursed, and Visa sponsorship is not required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, application whitelisting, and DLP.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and security operations centers.
• Security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA or Security+ are a plus.
• Scripting with PowerShell is helpful.
• Experience with Active Directory and physical security is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA and ITIL tools is useful.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
