Job summary

Sun Country Airlines seeks a Systems Operation Control Duty Manager to oversee the SOC, ensuring safe, coordinated operations while complying with regulations, contracts, and policies. You will lead daily operations, optimize fleet use, and coordinate with multiple teams to mitigate disruptions and maintain service quality.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving. On-site work in Minneapolis or Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of airline operations experience.
• Experience as SOC (Duty Manager, Dispatcher, Crew Schedule Supervisor).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage daily flight operations within SOC for safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Crew Services, Dispatch, Maintenance, Charters and other stakeholders on disruptions.
• Provide tactical oversight to meet safety, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Monitor short-term schedule to route aircraft efficiently based on route needs.
• Develop disruption recovery plans during abnormal operations.
• Communicate irregularities to appropriate departments and lead calls.
