Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Manager of SOC Standards in Minneapolis, MN, to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized SOC processes across Dispatch, Crew Scheduling, Maintenance, and more. The role directs Duty Manager and SOC Coordinator teams, aligning procedures with regulators and company requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in airline operations, SOC/OCC/Dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of airline operations control and irregular operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to develop clear procedures and training materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning operational systems.
• Understanding of aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve SOC policies, procedures, manuals, checklists, and reference materials.
• Design and maintain training curricula for Duty Manager and SOC Coordinator teams.
• Conduct initial and recurrent training ensuring content is current and practical.
• Implement new policies in coordination with senior SOC leadership.
• Own the SOC Manual and Delay Management Manual, keeping content current.
• Develop event call procedures and escalation guidance for irregular operations.
• Support Emergency Response training alignment and readiness activities.
• Partner with departments to ensure cross-functional process alignment.
• Lead merger/acquisition readiness with standardized procedures and training materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve standardization and knowledge retention.
