Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a SOC Operations Coordinator to support daily operations with the SOC Duty Manager and multiple SOC departments. This role focuses on developing and implementing daily operation plans that are both effective and efficient, including FLIFO maintenance and aircraft routing based on schedule, route requirements, and maintenance planning.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of airline operations experience, excellent communication, and a team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of airline operations experience in an SOC, Airport Operations, or Flight Operations role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Sun Country business model, values, and route structure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain FLIFO and delay postings.
• Assist with routine operational tasks and communicate with multiple departments.
• Route aircraft efficiently based on flight schedule and maintenance.
• Interact with dispatchers, schedulers, maintenance controllers, and crew.
• Disseminate timely communications for routine and irregular events.
