Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Systems Operations Control Duty Manager to lead the SOC and ensure safe, coordinated, and compliant daily operations in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with Crew Services, Dispatch, Maintenance, and others to optimize schedules and manage disruptions.

Based in Minneapolis or Las Vegas with on-site work, you will monitor operations, implement recovery plans, and maintain high standards of safety and customer service while guiding a talented team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of airline operations experience.
• Experience in SOC, Duty Manager, Dispatcher or Crew Scheduling roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and team-based collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage daily flight operations in the SOC to ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with Crew Services, Dispatch, Maintenance, and other stakeholders on disruptions.
• Provide tactical oversight to achieve on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor short-term schedules to route aircraft efficiently.
• Develop disruption recovery plans during abnormal operations and delays.
• Process daily operation reports and communicate irregularities to relevant departments.
• Lead daily/irregular operation calls and manage sub-service updates when needed.
• Assist sales with flight times, routings, and customer coordination.
