Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. in San Francisco seeks an IS Engineer to join the BI Platform Change project. You will support Oracle BI and contribute to building a unified Snowflake-based platform, handling data extracts, transformations, and dashboard developments.

The role involves collaboration with SF Reports & Analytics teams, working on dbt, SQL, ODI, and BI Publisher, ensuring data governance and performance. 1 year of related IS/BI experience required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or closely related field (or equivalent credits)
• 1 year of experience analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing, and/or maintaining components of a system or platform
• One year of additional experience may substitute the degree; or completion of the 1010 Information Systems Trainee Program may substitute for the degree
• Hands-on experience with OBIEE, OAS, ODI, SQL, and Data Warehousing
• Experience in writing advanced SQL and building data pipelines; knowledge of dbt preferred
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials and FSCM, HCM, and related data governance concepts
• Experience with version control (GitHub) and BI reporting tools like BI Publisher

Responsibilities

• Analyze interrelationships of business processes, financial data, HR data, and systems to develop reporting requirements and data structures
• Perform gap/fit analysis to evaluate reporting and data needs
• Develop and maintain OBIEE/OAS dashboards, analyses, and BI Publisher reports
• Design and enhance RPDs (Physical, BMM & Presentation Layers)
• Support Subject Areas, Logical Table Sources, and metadata models
• Develop ETL solutions using ODI, optimize queries, manage caching and performance, support production issues
• Create business and system process and technical documentation
• Identify, manage and escalate issues and risks through the SDLC
• Perform other duties as assigned
