Job summary

City and County of San Francisco seeks an IS Engineer to join the BI Platform Change team. You will support the current Oracle BI stack and help build a new Snowflake-based analytics platform, using ODI, SQL, and dbt for data integration and modeling.

The role focuses on business process and data analysis, dashboard development, and data governance across city departments, with collaboration across SF Reports & Analytics and enterprise teams.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a closely related field or equivalent credits.
• One year of experience analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing, or maintaining system components.

Responsibilities

• Analyze interrelationships of business processes, financial data, HR data, and systems to develop reporting requirements and data structures.
• Perform fit/gap analysis to evaluate reporting and data needs.
• Develop and maintain OBIEE/OAS dashboards, analyses, and BI Publisher reports.
• Design and enhance RPDs (Physical, BMM & Presentation Layers).
• Support Subject Areas, Logical Table Sources, and metadata models.
• Develop ETL solutions using ODI, perform query optimization and performance tuning, and troubleshoot production issues.
