Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Snowflake Engineer, Consultant, for our Snowflake CoE to design and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies. You will build and maintain data pipelines, collaborate with agile teams, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

You will apply SQL, Python, and modern data tooling in a client-facing consulting environment, contributing to data quality initiatives and continuous learning within the CoE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with hands-on Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience building batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or another OO language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience supporting analytics with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills.
• SnowPro Core Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and cloud tech.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable models.
• Work with agile teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration and continuous learning.
