Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management in Muskegon, MI is seeking on-call Seasonal Snow Salt Truck Drivers for the winter season. The role requires driving with CDL A, CDL B with Air Brakes, or Chauffeur's License, and includes paid training.

Expect to work part-time, seasonal hours with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance. Responsibilities include snow removal, safe operation in harsh winter weather, and accurate reporting of hours and materials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Valid CDL A License, CDL B with Air Brakes, or Chauffeur's License with no restrictions.
• MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner.
• Be willing to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation.

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to work in challenging weather conditions.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid CDL A License, CDL B w/ Air Brakes, or Chauffeur's License with no restrictions required
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one)
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
