Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking on-call Seasonal Snow Salt Truck Drivers for the winter season in Michigan. You will drive salt trucks, maintain routes, and respond to on-call snow events from November through April, with optional full-time opportunities based on performance.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL A, CDL B with Air Brakes, or Chauffeur's License (MDOT assistance provided) and be available nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is paid and safety is a priority.

• Competitive base pay: $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and license

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in challenging weather conditions.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Must have access to reliable transportation to & and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid CDL A License, CDL B w/ Air Brakes, or Chauffeur's License with no restrictions required
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one)
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
