Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking seasonal Snow Plow Truck Drivers in Grand Rapids, MI to keep parking lots clear during winter months. You will operate snow plow trucks, monitor weather and road conditions, and work to customer specifications with safety as a priority.

This part-time, seasonal role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a referral incentive. Drivers must be at least 18 and hold a valid driver's license; MDOT certification support is provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Chauffeur's License (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one).

Responsibilities

• Drive snow plow trucks to clear snow and ice from commercial parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and road surfaces to ensure timely response.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner.

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Drive snow plow trucks to clear snow and ice from commercial parking lots
• Monitor weather conditions and road surfaces to ensure timely and effective response
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
