Nexus Health in Illinois seeks a Business Office Manager to oversee the facility's financial and administrative operations, including billing, regulatory compliance, and patient services. This role typically manages resident accounts, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing, private-pay collections, admissions financial paperwork, trust accounts, and business office staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• SNF BOM or Assistant BOM experience required.
• Working knowledge of PCC, census, Medicaid and Medicare.
• Excellent time management & organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial files on all residents and ensure documentation is complete.
• Complete daily deposits, process credit card payments, and submit for posting.
• Liaise between corporate office and family members for billing questions.
• Complete therapy verifications by re-running eligibility to ensure accurate information.
