The South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking an ES Eligibility Specialist to administer SNAP, ESAP, and SCCAP programs within the Economic Services Division in Hampton County. You will perform eligibility determinations, conduct interviews, and authorize benefits to help stabilize families and individuals in need.

You will maintain confidential case records, document client activities, and participate in required trainings.

Qualificações

• High school diploma with 1 year relevant program experience in clerical, social services, or related fields.
• Associate degree may substitute for required experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Administers SNAP, ESAP, and SCCAP programs in the Economic Services Division.
• Conducts quality interviews and determines eligibility for benefits.
• Processes applications and recertifications and authorizes benefits as applicable.
• Maintains case records and documents client activities in the agency system.
• Protects client PII and participates in required trainings and meetings.

Formação

High School Diploma and 1 year relevant program experience

Associate degree may substitute for required experience
