Job summary

AMERICAN COMPUTER DEVELOPMENT INC in Frederick, MD is seeking an SMT Operator to handle setup, maintenance, and operation of automated SMT equipment, ensuring quality and productivity. You will work with Manufacturing Engineering, perform visual inspections, and handle changeovers on MyData machines to support NPI and production runs.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years SMT experience, and IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 training.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required. Electronics technical school graduate is preferred.
3+ years of hands on experience with SMT assembly techniques, equipment and processes
Training on IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001

Responsibilities

Setup, maintenance, and operation of SMT assembly equipment including screen printing, solder paste inspection, pick and place, reflow, AOI.
Perform setup/changeover duties on MyData pick and place machines.
Operate and replenish components across multiple MyData machines.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes and provide real time data.
Perform in-process visual inspections and first article checks.
Back up other SMT operators and AOI as needed.
