Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA, is seeking a SMT Operator for the 3:30pm–2am shift. You will load and assist with setup and staging of products on the SMT lines and support the 2nd shift team.

The role requires manual placement of surface mount and through-hole components, plus the ability to read blueprints and load plans. A high school diploma or GED is required, and basic MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
• Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
• Ability to read and understand load plans
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
• Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines
• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines
• Assist in building electronic assemblies as needed
• Perform manual placement of surface mount and through-hole electronic components
