J T in Seymour, CT seeks an SMT Operator I for 2nd shift to run and monitor automated SMT equipment in a fast-paced EMS environment. You will work with PCBA production, loaders, testers, and line leads to ensure timely, quality board assembly.

Responsibilities include setting up printers, loading PCBs, tracking materials, and logging data in the MES. IPC-A-610 training is preferred and safety rules apply on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in SMT assembly or electronics preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• IPC-A-610 training is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up and run solder paste screen printers and related equipment.
• Load, inspect, and unload PCBA across printers, SPI, pick-and-place, and reflow ovens.
• Manage component feeders and perform minor program edits per direction.
• Log job transactions and production data in the MES system (Aegis MIS).
• Coordinate with line leads and QA to maintain smooth board flow and safety.
