Frontier Airlines in Denver is seeking a Specialist, Safety Management System (SMS) to oversee the SMS program and coordinate with operations to ensure effective implementation of policies and practices. This role supports cross-functional teams and regulatory interface while driving safety improvements across the organization.

You will work with the Sr. Manager SMS/IEP to maintain SMS data, document procedures, and promote a culture of safety.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years’ work experience at a Part 121 air carrier.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within a Safety Management System (SMS).
• Thorough understanding of 14 CFR Part 5.

Responsabilidades

• Support Safety Assurance by coordinating cross-functional efforts to enhance the SMS program (40%).
• Co-chair SMS Working Groups and present findings to leadership weekly.
• Drive continuous improvement; document processes, procedures and controls; maintain SMS policies.
• Assist in Safety Risk Assessments and manage SMS data systems/databases.
• Audit SMS compliance and report findings to the Sr. Manager, SMS/IEP.
• Promote a strong safety culture through Safety Promotion initiatives.
• Interface with the FAA regarding SMS approvals, compliance requirements and corrective action plans.
• Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, SMS/IEP.
