Job summary

NetJets seeks a Safety Assurance Manager to lead the SMS program, monitor safety performance, and drive data-driven improvements across operations and maintenance. You will partner with leaders to identify trends, assess risk, and implement corrective actions with a focus on regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor's in aviation management and 6–8 years of experience in safety assurance, with strong analytical and communication skills to influence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aviation Management or related field.
• Experience with FAA SMS requirements and 14 CFR Part 5 guidance.
• 6–8 years of experience in safety assurance or SMS roles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Assurance activities within the SMS, including monitoring, measurement, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain processes to acquire safety data related to operations, products, and services.
• Monitor processes to detect changes that affect safety controls.
• Plan and oversee audits, evaluations, and assessments of SMS effectiveness.
• Analyze assurance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety risk controls and track corrective actions.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure SMS integration and documentation.
• Support internal and regulatory audits, reviews and inspections related to SMS.
• Promote a positive safety culture through communication and continuous learning.
