Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Safety/Quality Lead to oversee product safety programs across manufacturing sites in the United States. This role requires close collaboration with enterprise SMS teams to ensure compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement in safety metrics.

The position emphasizes risk management, incident investigation, and change management within a dynamic production environment, with in-person orientation on Day 1 and travel to supported GE sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent experience considered with 4+ years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead programs/projects and manage change.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMS development, implementation, and maintenance aligned with enterprise standards.
• Facilitate SRM with SAT/GROUPS and SRBs to identify and mitigate risks.
• Prepare product safety performance reports for reviews and audits.
• Monitor site-level SMS compliance and conduct safety inspections.
• Promote safety awareness and training across the site.
