Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a team member for the Smokehouse department. You will deliver fun, engaging service while preparing samples, performing cutting duties, and maintaining department standards.

You will ensure product quality and safety, manage stocking, receiving, and HACCP logs, and participate in PA announcements. Ideal candidates show energy, crowd-facing comfort, multitasking ability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic and outgoing personality.
• Active guest engagement and ability to engage crowds.
• Willingness to perform in front of large crowds in the Smokehouse.
• Ability to multitask and work well with others.
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Previous meat cutting/trimming experience.
• Culinary knowledge preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of deli and meat department operations.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Ability to work with computers.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Provides fun, friendly, engaging service to guests.
• Engages guests with Smokehouse samples and story-selling.
• Operates department per merchandising and operational standards.
• Maintains product quality and safety to Lowes Foods standards.
• Performs product prep, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service.
• Maintains HACCP logs as required.
• Performs light meat cutting duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.
