Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Smart Home Sales Technician to meet customers in homes, retail locations, and events, recommending tailored smart home solutions and closing sales. You will install and service Vivint equipment, walk customers through usage, and uphold a professional representation in stores and communities.

The role offers an hourly base with commissions, a company vehicle, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Sales mindset with the ability to build trust, uncover needs and ask for the sale.
Comfort learning and using smart home technology.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to pass post-offer background and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

Meeting customers in homes, retail locations and events.
Recommending personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
Generating leads, following up with prospects and closing sales.
Installing, servicing and troubleshooting Vivint smart home equipment.
Educating customers on how to use their system.
Representing Vivint professionally in the field, in retail environments and in the communities we serve.
