Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Smart Home Sales Technician to engage customers in homes, retail locations, and events, delivering personalized smart home recommendations from initial consultation through installation and ongoing service.

You’ll install and troubleshoot Vivint equipment, educate customers on system use, and represent the company professionally in diverse environments while building trust and closing sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales mindset with ability to build trust and close deals.
• Comfort learning and using smart home technology.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to pass post-offer background and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Meeting customers in homes, retail locations and events.
• Recommending personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
• Generating leads, following up with prospects and closing sales.
• Installing, servicing and troubleshooting Vivint smart home equipment.
• Educating customers on how to use their system.
• Representing Vivint professionally in the field, in retail environments and in the communities we serve.
