Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is seeking a Smart Home Expert to drive consultative sales in customers' homes, retail locations and events, delivering personalized smart home recommendations.

You’ll install, service and troubleshoot equipment, educate customers on system use, and represent Vivint professionally in the field. Base pay is hourly with commissions; the role includes paid training and a comprehensive benefits package, plus a four-day workweek with weekend support.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales mindset with ability to close sales.
• Comfort learning and using smart home technology.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to pass background/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in homes, retail locations and events.
• Recommend personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
• Generate leads, follow up with prospects and close sales.
• Install, service and troubleshoot Vivint smart home equipment.
• Educate customers on how to use their system.
• Represent Vivint professionally in the field and communities.
